FULL CAMOUFLAGE LEAF PRINT V1
2024
Layered leaf ‘prints’ developed through material study and field testing.
Garments and objects — hand-pressed, layered leaf by leaf.
Made in England.
Before the Full Camo series, my work focused on storytelling, using familiar, everyday imagery like sneakers and leaves often found in urban environments. Composition, direction, and density were tools I used to subtly set a scene across a wearable canvas.
The Full Camo series marked a shift—a more technical exploration of my leaf printing technique. I became curious: could layering alone replicate the look and feel of camouflage? This series became about pushing a household material—bleach—to its limits, and refining the process so thoroughly that the result no longer resembles bleach at all - used not for novelty, but for its permanence and precision.
The Full Camo hoodie quickly became a defining piece—one of the most viral fashion moments of 2024. What started as a technical experiment in layering and print technique caught on quickly online, reaching over 100 million views worldwide.
Each piece is made to stand out—a striking design on a simple hoodie, with detail that can't be replicated through mass production. The technique ensures permanence and uninterrupted flow across seams, something machines can't imitate.
This series continues to evolve, tested across new colorways, silhouettes, and even different objects—always driven by the tension between organic forms and technical execution.
Each version expands the same question: how far can a single process go before it becomes something entirely new?
